Tempeh Mushroom Pasta

Carbs forever - am I right? I love pasta a little too much, but this pasta makes me feel like I am eating healthily while also satisfying my pasta craving! Special thanks to The Garden Grazer for the recipe!


  • 8 oz. tempeh

  • 10 oz. sliced mushrooms

  • 2 lb. jar pasta sauce

  • 14 oz. pasta

  • Optional add-ins: onion, garlic, spinach, bell pepper, zucchini, fresh herbs


  1. Cook pasta according to package directions.*

  2. Meanwhile, crumble tempeh.

  3. In a large pan over medium heat, saute tempeh and mushrooms about 8 minutes or until mushrooms soften.

  4. Reduce heat to med-low and pour in pasta sauce.

  5. Stir occasionally until sauce is heated through, about 10 minutes.

  6. Spoon mixture over cooked pasta.
