Quinoa Oatmeal

Need protein in the morning? This oatmeal will give you the substance you need to start your day. It takes maximum of 30 minutes to make and serves 4 people.

1 cup steel cut oats






½ cup quinoa




1 teaspoon coconut oil




½ cup almond milk







                              4 cups of water



1.  Heat up the water in a kettle on the stovetop until it is near boiling.

2. Put the quinoa in a strainer and rinse.

3. Heat the oil in a pan, and add the steel cut oats.

4. Cook the oats until they are toasted.

5. Add the oats and quinoa to the water.

6. Turn down the heat, and let it all simmer for 20 minutes.

7. Add the milk and whatever else you want in your oatmeal.

8. Enjoy!
